Hi! does anyone know if the newly refurbished Wonder cabins now have the ability to have connecting balconies? I know the Dream class does; hoping the Wonder does now too!!

No confirmation yet, but the Magic added connecting verandahs during her re-imagining, so I'm guessing that the Wonder did also.

Yes, they do, if the cabins connect.

Not necessarily--my cabin connected with another cabin, but there was a solid wall between our verandahs.

However, on our other side we had the option to open a verandah with the room we did not connect with. I think there was a stretch of four rooms where we all could have opened up the verandahs. Several of them did (we were all the same traveling party), but in my room we opted not to do so and kept our verandah private.

Man, I hope that makes sense.

Totally does. Even on the Dream class ships, not all verandahs connect. Almost all do, but some don't due to the superstructure of the ship. Sounds like they did the same on the Wonder.

Thanks for the info!! If anyone out there has been on the new Wonder, could you please let us know if your verandahs had that capability?

We're just off the Wonder today. We had cabins 5124 and 5126, not connecting cabins and our stateroom host was able to open up our verandahs.

Off the Wonder today and several balconies were opened up for connectivity.
That being said one of the balconies was a steel wall and could not open but the other side could have.

Thank you! knowing which rooms have connecting (as well as which don't) will be very helpful to us as we play how to travel with our three kids :)

So just to clarify: if I see that little squiggly line between two non connecting rooms, does that mean that the two room's verandas will connect?

When you look online at the ship's room availability or map of the ship, I see arrows that indicate connecting rooms and then there are broken lines that look like ---___-----___ between the rooms. Does this mean connecting veranda?

Are you talking about the Magic or Wonder? There is a wall pattern on the old deck plans that looks like this:
door indent.jpg

That's just an indented space in each room where the storage cabinet is:

I'm not seeing anything that looks like ------_____-------_____ on the DCL website deck plans. Can you do a screen grab and post it? Or tell me what deck plans you're looking at, and specific room/area?

Oh! I thought that rooms 7604 and 7606 would be connected by a veranda because I saw this indent. Anyway to know for sure that the verandas connect? I don't care so much about the rooms but rather a connecting veranda to my in laws would be great!

Well, until it's confirmed by someone staying in one of those rooms, my guess is that they do connect. But, no way to know for sure until someone reports it.
