So I am back and have no programs to put rafia on, no shoes to buy..even when I saw a pair of men's shorts on sale today, I thought..no..its all OVER!!I can't even get enough "umf" to finish my TR...does every bride go through this??I won't be able to watch our video for several months..so that is good..otherwise, I might not have a reason to get off the couch except to get some One Sweet Whirl ice cream and whine!!!:happytv:

i didn't handle the post wedding blues very well...i signed myself up for the disney 1/2 marathon and started running...then my sister got engaged and i've thrown myself into wedding crafts once again.

Aww! I didn't really have any blues, but I can see how after planning for so long they could happen. Why don't you get involved with some other crafts? Maybe you could make all your own Christmas cards this year? Or start scrapbooking your wedding and trip, then you can relive it and make something nice at the same time

Yeah it happened to me. I started planning other trips and getting invloved in scrapbooking etc and it eventually faded. I still think about a VR now and then;) :rotfl:

Well I miss my wedding day very much and I was sad when it was over...but I had post disney blues when we left our wedding LOL...I just booked another trip when we got bak and bought DVC...that cured my post wedding and Disney blues.

you're not alone. a lot of us feel that way. great advice so far.....plan another trip is my best advise...and plan your first anniversary now!! sounds silly but plan something really special either at home or in disney and throw yourself into those plans. thats what i did and then after that first year my blues faded fast.

I think it happens to the best of us... you just put so much work into it and it consumes so much of your time and then.... it's over... I still have days of wishing for stationary products to pick out or flowers to look at. Almost 2 years later and I wish I could do it all over again... but, that's what a vow renewal is for. In the meantime I just focus on planning new trips etc. That takes the edge off. ;)

well..my friend has helped..i got links to her pics today!!

Wow - I am in the same boat as you guys...I came back so crabby. It seemed like the VR took forever to get here and then it was over in a flash! I feel like I am over the blues but I too booked us another trip to get over it. Getting my pix from Randy helped too! I gotta work on that TR.

OOOHHH Betsy, the only thing that keeps me going is reading all of the upcoming VR that I am reading about!! I know what you mean, I want to do it again and again and again......I am already planning our 30th in the Mediterian on DCL..;)
