Post Coupons Here

restaurant.com is having another 80% off sale; the code is "chow". With the code, a $25 gift certificate costs $2. I got another House of Blues gc today :thumbsup2 They also have them for a few other restaurants in the Anaheim area...

Thanks for this one! Can you only use 1 certificate at a time? I got 2 just in case you could. I figure if we only use one, we are only out $2.50 :rotfl:

Yup, you can only use one at a time. But look at it this way: the second one will be good on your next trip to DLR, as they don't expire!

Thanks for that - have just discovered that they are only good for those in the USA - I'm from Australia so no good for me

Oh, but you can use Paypal to pay with, and the address of, say, the hotel you'll be staying at, whilst at the Park...

Thanks for that - I'll give it a try :)

There was a recent thread all about how to order if you're not from the US, and the info came from restaurant.com itself. It's the thread that's titled "Great deal at House of Blues" or something like that. I'll look for the link...here is a quote from that thread

Just a note - I emailed restaurant.com directly and asked them how I could get the deal if I lived in Canada. They instructed me to simply use their corporate address. The House of Blues deal is now $2 for $25 off your bill of $35 + 18% tip. Use code "Cook." You print the coupon directly after paying - my initial concern, which now seems absurd, was that I needed a US address for them to send it to me by snail mail.

and here is the link to the whole thread: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2422695

They just email you the certificate so a "real" address is not necessary. You get the certificate in your email almost as soon as you've ordered it and they never send you anything through the regular mail.

I was just on restaurant.com and it said the house of blues GC was now $12.50??

You have to add it to your cart and enter the code CHOW in the promo box - this will take it down to $2.50. :thumbsup2

What a good deal. I picked up one for the House of Blues for our trip coming up in July. Unfortunately, there's only one restaurant participating in Wichita KS. But I got it too : ).

Thanks

There is a new promotion at Restaurant.com - enter in code "flag" at checkout, and you get 80% off.

Not quite as good as the previous promotion, but only $1 more.

:goodvibes

Thanks for that :thumbsup2 I just picked up two for the House of Blues. Quick question though. On the gift certificate it says you can only use 1 certificate per month. I'm curious as to how they are going to know if you use more than one during your stay?

the certificates have a # on them and when u use them the restaurant calls to verify the certificate is good. u can only use 1 every 30 days at the same restaurant. but someone else in your party can purchase the same certificate and use it. if you buy one and someone else in your party can buy one.
one certif. per table.

Does anyone want to trade HOB GC's with me? I bought two of them thinking I could use one at the end of November and one at the beginning of December. If someone else were to buy two, we could swap one and we both win! :)

Not sure if anyone has posted this birthday club one but Join this and if you go to Disneyland within 60 days of your b-day you have a voucher for $30 that you can use at 3 of the restaurants in Downtown Disney. (Must be 21 to participate, cuz if not I would have signed my kids up too! LOL:lmao:) It will tell you the restaurants on it; I’m using mine on my upcoming trip! (but the downtown Disney restaurants are Tortilla Joe’s, Catal/Uva Bar, and Naples)

I did it about 3 weeks after my bday and still got the $30 coupon to use for my bday. :cool1: I am assuming this is because the coupon is good for 60 days from your bday.

We are using it next week at Naples! :cool1:

That's a great one Porturican.

I'm pulling in a post from Sherry on another thread that had a ton of great money savers:

Also, periodically check the Rainforest Cafe website or get on any mailing lists they have (and join their Facebook page), as they will occasionally have good coupons you can print to get $$ off your food at RFC (and RFC has a much wider variety of menu options than most of the places inside DL or DCA). It may be even be worth joining the Safari Club, as you get a little discount every time you eat at RFC when you are a Safari Club member, as well as priority seating status.

Ditto for ESPN Zone - join their MVP Club, which I think is free - and not only will that assist you in making reservations at the DTD location (or any other location), but I think (I could be wrong) you can get little discounts with that too.

I have not yet eaten at Mimi's or Millie's, but they are both very popular among DIS-ers. Mimi's offers a coupon for free breakfast when you join their club(I think you have to purchase a breakfast to get the other one free, but could be mistaken on that). Check their websites for further info.

Mimi's - http://www.mimiscafe.com/

Millie's (has a Best Guest Club and a Kids Klub) - http://www.millies.com/

Naples, Catal and Tortilla Jo's are all owned by The Patina Group. Patina Group is currently offering a $30 certificate for any of their restaurants (including the ones in DTD) on your birthday if you sign up (for free) to receive their Simply Patina e-mail newsletter. Details are on their website.

Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen (to get on mailing list):

LaBrea Bakery (to get on mailing list):

I also joined all the Facebook pages for any Disney-area restaurants I was interested in, including Rainforest Cafe, Mimi's, La Brea Bakery and Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen. I am sure there are probably also pages for California Pizza Kitchen and all the other places in Garden Walk nearby to DLR. I would suggest getting on every Facebook page and joining every mailing (usually e-mail) list for every place you can think of, as they will send out info and alerts of special discounts, promos or coupons here and there, all to your News Feed or e-mail.

I received $10 off my Get Away Today package by using the promo code "blog10".
There is also a $10 off code called "castle".

I have 2 coupons for Mimi's--1 is a free kid's meal with purchase of adult entree and the other is for a free petite treat with purchase of entree. They expire June 6, 2010 and I can email them to the first person who wants them.
