Post count not increasing

I have noticed today that when I post the count has not increased. I can't remember all I've posted lately, but have noticed the last 3 posts all show "157" as the post count.

I know I will never have the numbers some DISbaord members have, but wonder why all my posts don't increase my total.

Strange thing---

the count on my last 3 posts has changed from 157 to 158---all 3 now show 158 !

OK so when I posted this they all changed to 159????

Yes, the post count is your TOTAL post count, not a number that's different on each of your posts.
