Yes, but the poster just asked which rows are extra leg room. That’s all I was answering. Maybe you meant to tag that poster with that info, not me.

Many of the planes also have a heart on the headrest of the extra legroom seats. Some people have been saying all of them, but I had one last week that had been reconfigured without the new headrests.

Here is an alternative to canceling and rebooking a basic fare if points decrease.

1. Upgrade the basic fare to a WGA+ fare using the change flight feature (you are not allowed to change but can upgrade). Note: you will need enough points in your account to make the upgrade.
2. After you complete the upgrade, change the flight to the discounted basic fare. (Since it is now an WGA+ fare you are allowed to make a change). All the excess points will go back to your account.

I just want to give you all a heads up: this method did not work for me earlier this week. I have several upcoming flights on SW thru January - all Basic fare, all on points and all still with open seating. I have used the method above to rebook my Basic fares on points a few times and it has worked great. This week, one of my flights dropped and I tried using the above method. I changed to Choice then went to change it back to Basic but I kept getting an error. It could have just been a system glitch/error thing or maybe they caught on? I don't know. But I got tired of trying so I went ahead and just canceled the whole thing and rebooked to get the lower Basic fare.

I have a LUV voucher that states all travel must be completed by 6-21-26. If I use it to book a choice reservation on 6-1-26 and cancel the next day, will Southwest give me credit that will be good for 12 months until 6-1-27. Or will the original LUV voucher date of 6-21-26 be held. Their website is very vague about LUV vouchers.

Just flew SW from Austin to Denver. Austin gate agent told me that all C group passengers will not be able to bring a carry on suitcase once assigned seating starts. They will be forced to pay for their bags.

1- There will be no such thing as Group C once assigned seating starts. There will be 8 boarding group numbers
2- It is not uncommon for airlines to force folks to check their bags once overhead bin space is used up. Right now, none of the legacies charge for that at the gate. If you are allotted a carryon per your ticket agreement and then they run out of room for it in the carryon space, I don't think they could charge you when they force it to be gate checked. Your ticket represents a legal contract that they need to fulfill and suddenly charging for a bag they said was included does not fulfill the requirement.

I am sure that some number of folks will be required to gate check bags without charge because they have run out of room. And it's possible that Southwest will go the way of Spirit and start charging for a carryon. But, they can't change the rules on you after you've bought your ticket and arrived at the airport.

Flight I was on last week, agents were announcing that there would not be room for the C group carryons so they should check now at the gate. Not sure how they knew this. When I opened the bin when we landed only thing in the bin where our 2 carry ons. I think they try to get people to gate check to speed up the boarding on flights that are running behind.
Gate agent was also telling people that anyone that had a bag that would fit in the size sample would automatically have their bag gate checked no matter the boarding group. The agents seemed to be on a power trip .
