Post all SW questions concerns, etc. here...

I’m really only seeing we would be able to change on basic for 6
Months and 12 for the other. I must be missing something.
If she changes to WGA plus and another price drop comes that credit would be good for 12 months as opposed to the basic fair which is six months

As far as I've been seeing on here, the flight credits are good for 6/12 months from the date the flight was originally booked. So say you booked a flight on June 1 for a flight in October. You checked the fares today, and the flight is now cheaper by $50/ticket. For a Basic fare, that $50 credit will be good until Dec 1. 6 months from the date of booking, not Jan 12, which would be 6 months from today. WGA+ and above credits would be good until June 1 (May 31?) 2026

Yes that is correct. The expiration date is based on ticket purchase date. That is why I would book WGA+ at a minimum cash points don’t matter as much.

What are you doing if you chose between basic and wanna get away plus.
We are flying around holidays.
We don’t ever to do the pre- board or change flights same day.
We do change times - days often and I’ve got ticket funds back or paid another difference.

With this group we are always looking to save some money/get a good deal.
Now that the credits have an expiration date that is tied to when you bought your ticket you really have to be paying attention.

The next schedule release is on 7/29/25 and is good for tickets up to 3/4/26
Suppose I buy a basic ticket on release day for the last day in the schedule.
There is a huge sale that happens during Valentine’s Day. I cancel my ticket to get the credit and rebook it but I don’t have any credit as it has been more than 6 months since I purchased the ticket.

Now if I had a wanna get away plus ticket I would still have time left on the credit.
