I don’t think you will as it will be looking at your SW profile to determine if you are a card member or not. The policy states you can use ANY card and then SW will refund you so this is not Chase giving a credit back if using the CC which is why I would say no for your situation.
I'm in the same boat as you, my husband is the one with the SWA CC and I'm the authorized user on it.
Based on other airlines, the answer would be no. I hold CC for both Delta and American, my wife does not get a free bag on either if I'm not travelling with her on the same reservation. We've flown together on separate reservations and she still did not get a free bag.
That's interesting because when we went to Hawaii in 2016 Delta just tied our reservations together which then allowed me a free checked bag under my husband's Delta Skymiles CC. We had been flying one ticket booked with Delta points and one ticket booked with cash.
I should have specified, my wife and I have only had that happen on American. I do recall others on Flyertalk also saying the same thing about Delta, that when you're at the airport the desk agent can and usually does extend the benefit.
Thanks for the clarification, we don't fly AA and while we don't fly Delta much I know we would likely fly them when SWA isn't an option so it's nice to know the process hasn't likely changed there.
We only have SWA and Spirit for non-stop to Orlando and I can't say that I would go down on Spirit sooo I'm stuck as well if talking about Orlando.
Yeah we have one too, it doesn't super affect us at the moment but it's really annoying too. I don't fly without my husband just doesn't come up but I did when he was away on field assignments pre-covid and I would use his plane ticket to visit him and because I'm neither the CC holder nor the one with the status I would have had to pay if under the new rules and that just sucks IMO. While we didn't use the checked baggage perk super super often it was one of the main things to differentiate SWA from their competitors

Do you interpret this as getting one free bag each and every time you fly? I remember they limited the number of early bird upgrades.
I definitely interpret this as every flight. Otherwise, it would say something about "per year" in the information.
My recommendation is no longer valid as eBags was bought out and discontinued, but my wife has one of their underseat personal items and it actually fits under the seat and counted as a personal item on Allegiant. She can fit 2-3 days in it.
I would agree with another poster a few pages back that depending on the aircraft the underseat area of aisle may be smaller than the middle and window. My husband and I have a backpack we use (same exact backpack just slightly different dimensions) where his is about an inch taller than mine but an inch narrower than mine. It can be a tight fit in the aisle seat depending on the aircraft (where he always sits unless he can't or is able to get the exit row seat that has no seat in front of it) whereas for my backpack in the middle (where I always sit unless there happens to not be a full flight where we can have a seat in between us) fits fine regardless of the aircraft.
