Sorry if this isn’t the right place to post this, it’s my first post ever. :)

Me and my boyfriend might be taking a trip to Disney World Oct 13-21, it will be the first time going in the fall. We have only been to Disney the first week of March.

We are doing MNSSHP party Sunday (10-14), I’ve read Fridays are crowded but not sure about Sundays. We plan on going to the parks Tuesday-Friday. We are staying at the Best Western in Disney spring area, for the first time, and it’s the closest thing to on staying on site we’ve ever done so I’m really excited about that!

Any tips in general? How are the crowds around this time, and weather? Food and Wine tips? How is the bus transportation from the hotel to the parks?

Thanks in advance :)

:welcome: to DisBoards!!

OK on your possible October 13-21 trip! Sounds wonderful!

As far as crowds check out the 2018 crowd calendar on **************. It shows that week as "moderate crowd" coming right after the busy Columbus Day week. I suspect that the crowds will be dropping as the week goes on.

The weather will still be be warm and somewhat humid. Not August/September hot but certainly much warmer than your March visits. Low temperatures in the mid 60's, highs in the mid 80's. Depending on where you are from that will either be wonderful or wilting.

If you enjoy experimenting with new food and drinks then you will love Food and Wine. Just remember to bring some extra spending money as you will probably find lots of things you will want to try.

I can't speak directly about the bus transportation from the Best Western but my experience from many years ago from that area was that the buses were few and far between. My guess is that if you have your own car that will work much better. I suggest you ask this question over on the Transportation and/or the Orlando Hotels forums.
Wishing you a pixiedust: visit!

I agree with NH- bring money and yes transport from the Disney Springs Resort areas kinda stinks. You could uber though for the same cost of daily parking so, there is no reason to rent a car unless you are driving down just watch out for surge Pricing.
