Staying at Springhill Suites. Is it feasible to walk to Seaworld (and save $) or is it better to pay for parking? We plan on going for a few hours in the evening.

It is possible to walk..it is probably a little over a mile to the gate from the hotel.

There might not be any sidewalks for part of the walk though (but there is a grassy area to walk on)

If you plan on staying all day I'd just drive and pay for parking..but if you are only going for a few hours it might be worth it to walk (and see if you can get the shuttle back to the hotel).

Looks like a shuttle is provided from there. Here are the benefits that is shown as being provided from staying there.

We stayed at the Fairfield Inn in March which is right next to Springfield and shares the benefits. There is a free shuttle that runs from the hotel. You could walk there but you do not have sidewalks the whole way (could walk on grass) but then you also have to walk all the way through the parking area which leading up to the "toll booths" I don't remember there being a sidewalk.

Thanks all. We will forget about walking and plan on either taking the shuttle or driving instead :)

I'm not sure where Springhill Suites is in relation to the Hilton Grand Vacation Club at SW. We stayed at HGVC last year and after taking the shuttle to SW the morning of our first day we walked the rest of the time. It was easy to cut through the SW parking lot & not have to deal with traffic or assorted shuttle stops. It was maybe a 15-20 minute walk from the entry gates back to HGVC. We like to walk, I know that this kind of walking to & from the parks doesn't = vacation to other folks :).
