My niece will be traveling with us on our next cruise and staying in our stateroom. Is it possible for her to attach her own credit card to her account?

Yes, you can. On my last cruise my adult friend and I shared a room and she used her credit card for her KTTW and other charges.

Do you just call and have it added?

I'm sure you can call DCL or your TA directly. I added my friends credit card when prompted to check into my cruise. I did call my TA to prepay the tips so my friends credit card was not charged for the tips.

Thank you!

So this is how you do this:-

On the on line checkin there is the options for putting a credit card against your stateroom account.

There is an option for one credit card to go against everyone in the room,

Or

You can out a different card against each person, or say two on one card, one on another.

No need to call DCL just update the on line check in.

Even if you have completed OLCI already, you can go back and edit it and change it.

Lastly at port it can be changed and at guest services, but online us best pre cruise.

If you note, they break down ever cost by guest, even the tips. They are assuming some would do it this way

Yes always on each stateroom account, each separate persons charges are listed separately first, then added together if you put one card down.

Are stateroom credits (i.e. OBC from the TA or from DCL) also applied per person if you provide different credit cards for each person's expenses? Or are they applied to the person's account who booked the cruise?

The later, to who booked. Lead person on reservation. I always get all of mine. The family are not credited. If you have one card they are then netted off.

I recommend spot checking the account while onboard as well. Every time we have done this, something got messed up so just triple check things! :)

Yes, this is absolutely true, so when I travel with my Mom if I want half of our on-board-credit to be used towards her gratuities, then we have to list one credit card and split our expenses ourselves manually.

My mom and I still use our separate cards and then go to guest services. They move any charge we ask from my acct to mom to go against my half of the on board credit.

Yes, like others have said, definitely just DOUBLE CHECK to make sure. We've done this and it's gone without a hitch, but it never hurts to double check!
