We are wanting to go to Teppan Edo, but I am 99% sure my oldest daughter (very picky) isn't going to A) care much for the food B)eat much. She is a very light eater. We usually try to pick TS meals where she and I can share a meal. We are both light eaters.

Is it possible to split something here? I know we have at many Disney locations, but am always a bit concerned we will be seen as "cheap" or whatever, when, in reality we are on the dining plan (free dining) and never even use all of our credits! I just hate to throw an entire meal away! :)

Any info would be helpful.

Thanks!

If you are not a party of 8 you will be seated around the grill with others to fill in the seating, so I don't know if they would think you are cheap or not.
Second if there are more then just the 2 you you I would order the meal for your daughter if she doesn't like it share the remaining between the rest of you, the portions aren't large and but really great tasting, I wish my DD or DS didn't finish their meal I would have helped. So if the TS credit would not be used I would order her the meal. The steak, shrimp, scallops or chicken whatever you get can easly be passed around and shared.

Plate-splitting (sharing) isn't allowed at Edo.

I ate there maybe 1 1/2 - 2 years ago and a couple at our table did share. I wouldn't do it personally because I have no problem finishing it myself. But it's not all you can eat so I don't know why it would be different than any other restaurant.

My guess is that it will be up to your server and restaurant manager the day that you go.

Thanks for the info. :goodvibes

I think I have decided just to order her a meal and (gasp) possibly throw most of it away! She doesn't eat a lot, and she is also a vegetarian, which means there doesn't look like tons of options for her. The TS credit would probably go to waste anyway, so getting her a meal for herself isn't really going to "put us out" any. I just hate to waste food. I am just hoping that DH will have one of his "hungry" days. If he does, then I know nothing will go to waste!

Thanks, again!
