Possible to get ears ahead of time?

Some wonderful family friends are going to Disney for the first time this summer. The mom (poor thing) just isn't catching the "Disney bug" - she's going for the kids, but thinks the whole place is kind of silly (I know, hard to believe we're friends!!!)

Anyway - I would love to surprise the family with ears - and hopefully spark a little magic for the kids (and maybe even for the mom! ) Is there any way to order them and have them in the room when they arrive? The trip is still several months away, so I have some time.

I appologize if this has been asked before - or if this is the wrong board!! Thanks so much!

This might be the total wrong answer, but have you tried calling 407-WDISNEY? They helped me to track down and purchase a random purse about 5 years ago. Good luck!!

I bought a set of ears at the laughingplace store with each of our names monogramed on them. It was a fun surprise for our last trip!

they wouldn't be in the room though unless they are staying conceirge. Room numbers can change at anytime and not everyone is honest if something is in their room that they didn't order.

That goes for all deliveries from all companies.
Orders are delivered to the front desk and either given at check in or delivered soon after check in.

I have found some of the prices on laughingplace.com to be really crazy.You might be better off calling Disney and just ordering them that way.

Guests staying concierge can have items waiting in their room when they arrive. Concierge rooms are assigned prior to the guest's arrival.

I contacted Disney Florist and they said it would be $9 for the ears, $9 for the names, $3.50 for wrap fee and $9 delivery if you want to sent to your room before or left you arrive. I am thinking about doing it for my boys first trip, I want ears and i want to surprise them in the room with them and they will think they are from Mickey.

I just called the Disney Florist the other day...vacation is in 19 days. My son saw the Gosselins on TV and is sure that he will have "ears" waiting for him also. The Disney Florist is having them sent to the front desk at CBR the day before we arrive and also he is getting an autograph book and pen all wraped up just for him when we check in!!!! we are not staying concierge we are regular people. Also it will have his name on it. She said they do gifts at check-in all the time. The best part is she is signing the card "from your disney pals" this way my son doesn't know that his mom did this. how is that for magical???

4 hats, 1 with name on it, gift basket, autograph book, pen, chocolate bar, and a couple other goodies, and delivery about 80 dollars

Yes you are better buying them ahead of time. I bought mine on E-bay at a great price. Im making goodie bags for my two girls. I will take them me. I will go seperately to the room first and just put the bags in there so it will be there waiting. Or I can put then out after we check in some time. The prices are outragous for some of these services. I bought myself a pair of gold sequined ears (tags attached $19.99 orig price, i got for $5.00)
