Possible to do Epcot without FP's?

Planning on a late June trip. I was thinking of getting to Epcot for opening and trying to ride Soarin and TT without FP's, trying to save them for evening use at MK or DHS. How optimistic am I being(in the past we always sent DH for Soarin FP's while we headed straight to TT) and should I stick with a non- EMH day or switch to early EMH at Epcot?

It's definitely possible, just make sure you get there as early as possible to minimize waits. As long as you are fine with riding each ride only once you should be fine. Since you're planning on hopping to another park anyways I would do it on a morning EMH day if you know for sure you can get there for 8 AM. That should make it fairly easy to do.

If you're willing to split your party up and ride TT in the single rider line, you're even better off.

I love Epcot, it is my favorite park, and the vast majority of the time I don't do Fastpass so it is possible. I have never left the park without riding everything I wanted to that day. Not once.

I would personally take advantage of morning EMH and do the headliners early before heading to a different park.

If you rope drop either Soarin or Test Track first in June on a non-EMH day, expect there to be an hour long line by the time you get to the 2nd one. As long as that is OK with you, you should be fine.
If you can do morning EMH for Epcot, that would be better.

I would take advantage of early EMH at Epcot if you're going to hop to MK later. Soarin' is the big one that you'll want a FP fore. Even in the less crowded months it just has a huge wait. Test Track might have a long wait BUT if you don't mind being split up if you want to ride multiple times, the single rider line is great and pretty quick!

If you don't have small children and can split up, just ride Soarin first and then do Test Track in the single rider line. My husband and I rode in the single rider line at all times of the day last June without waiting in line for more than 15 minutes. Since the cars you "design" only work about half the time, we decided single rider is the only way we'll do Test Track.

Good luck! In June, the standby lines will be LONG early in the day. Whichever ride you do second will probably have a 45 minute + line by the time you get to it. Last June we were some of the first people through the turnstiles at rope drop on our Epcot day. We sent the men to get Soarin' FPs right at rope drop while we took the kiddos to the Character Spot. By the time we all met back up at Test Track - literally at 9:05, the standby line was 50 minutes posted and 35 minutes in reality.

To accomplish that, I would go to EPCOT on a morning EMH day. You should be able to ride Soarin' and TT without FP that early. I'd hit Soarin' first and then TT.

The rest of FW shouldn't have bad waits during the first hour of regular opening (just be wary of Spaceship Earth at that time... a lot of people stop there first). I would walk to Norway a little before 11am to ride Maelstrom as soon as it opens and then backtrack to Mexico for the boat ride. After that I'd enjoy the rest of WS until we felt like it was time to hop to the other park.

We have only used FP at Epcot to ride Soarin and TT multiple times. If you want to just ride them once, and are willing to get there early, I think it's eminently doable without FP. The later you get there, and the more times you want to ride those, the more troublesome it becomes.

Thanks everyone:) I think I will adjust my plans and do Epcot on an EMH morning to get the headliners and a few other things done and save the FP's for evening
