Possible to do both parks in one day

I only have one day at Universal. DH and I are in our 30"s so we will be interested in the rides not so much the shows. Is it physically possible to do both parks, riding the big rides and missing the shows. ?

I think so. I've done it before even though I think you miss alot of the ambience by rushing through. It really depends on different variables...

1. The time of year you're going

2. The crowds

3. Whether or not you're staying onsite

With the onsite Universal Express perk you will have no problem at all. Without it your day will be cut by lots of lines.

Unfortunately i am not staying on site, i am at disney,

I am going Sun May 12 !!! I heard sunday is not a busy day.

Can you only use express pass one at a time?

Yes because i stayed at Portofino Bay Hotel and got the Head of the Line thingy and did all the rides in both parks in one day.
