and just so you know demos are usually 3 or 4 songs...not 12... You just need to give them a taste of your music but try and show everything you do...you don't need that many...because truth be told they will not have time to listen to it all.

And like KitKat said, just pick maybe 3 songs that you think you're strongest with.
I'd also recommend going to open mic nights at local coffee shops or clubs so that you get used to performing in front of a crowd if you haven't been doing that already.

Don't get your hopes up too high though, remember that they get tons of demo cd's every day.

Yep, the guy my Mom is dating told my Mom that last night. So I am picking 3 of the songs I feel have good vocal range and show some of what I can do with the guitar.

Oh , I am not banking on becoming a star at all. I am just going to take ths opportunity as a learning experience and if anything at all comes out of it that is all the better, but I am not doing it to be the next Pop/Rock Star.

they're pretty good. kinda an acclectic mix if i'm remembering right. you've prob got a good chance.

look me up if you make it down here. i'll set you up with some promo photos and you can use em for business. i've done that for a lot of local artists.
