Possible last minute trip to HH or VB? Need help, please!

I just started thinking it might be possible to go to HH or VB next week. DH has the week off and there is no school.

Do they do anything special at HH for NYE?

I haven't even called MS to see about availability with pts or cash.

I tried to check the weather for the part of the US we would have to drive through but weather.com turned that into a paid service.

Should we go for it? I don't want to get down there and get stuck in a snowstorm. The weather right now in HH and VB looks great!

HH has a $99/night for a 2-BR with the Disney visa. I'm not sure if is valid for NYE, but worth looking into. Have Fun!!

From a weather perspective I'd probably go with Vero over HH. The Highs are very close but VB is more likely to attain those temps and keep them than HH. Plus...you can go inland or south and get warmer weather. That isn't really feasible with HH.

They were both booked. (cash and points)

I was going to tell my DH to pack when he finished work on Friday. We were going to try for Amelia Island but decided maybe just to take off for a few days next week to some place here in Michigan.

Oh well.
