Well, I had to take my son last week to see a psychiatrist, mainly to rule out any issues such as bipolar, conduct disorder, autism etc. He is 12, almost 13 and the doctor gave him the Rohrbach test. Which apparently he scored very high on- meaning he is very creative, very imaginative. Thank goodness they ruled out any other disorders. He's ok.

But I have to find things to channel is creativity & imagination. Does anyone know if Disney provides anything for kids in the imagineering area-- ie tours, camps etc? Or is anyone here on the boards knows of any other types of programs etc (in or out of wdw) that I can channel him into?

Which dining with an imagineer might be on our next list of to do's at Disney.

At various times during the year Disney offers open enrollment for Y.E.S. Youth Education Services. The package comes with discounted tickets and one class. Additional classes are $26/piece. There are quite a few that would probably work.

Look on the budget board for a thread that has all the details. :)

Just tried to do a search, and I couldn't find it. : (
