Possible good news for offsiters and FP+

There was no date. But it made me stop at a certain point bc it said only 2 tix were linked. When I tried to link others it said it's linked in another acct. ( my DH's) I am so frustrated!!!!
I'm gonna try calling this week.
I think if all the tix were linked in ONE acct. I would have been all set. It was definitely different from the last time I tried.

If your DH has a separate account with tickets linked, you need to link your account to his. To do this, you need to "invite" him, and he has to accept, but then he also has to "invite" you, and then YOU accept. Until it is done in both directions, it doesn't work 100%.
 
Staying at S/D May 5-10....

grrr... so this morning I go to check MDE and it makes me go through the whole registration thing again. Basically confirming my party and the tickets we have already linked then it takes me to my "updated" page which no longer says "you may begin making FP+ reservations on March 7th". Now it is just an endless loop of reconfirming the people in our group and our linked tickets!

This is really bad PR Disney, just saying! :mic:

Exact same thing happened to me this morning. Previously mde said I could make fastpass selections on March 14, and now I get the same endless loop reconfirming people and tickets. My daughter is under 2 and doesn't need a ticket. Maybe that could be an issue since she doesn't have a ticket linked?

I don't think that is your issue, I have four adults in my party, all linked tickets and I am still getting that endless loop.

Still two months till I go so hoping something will change. If not I guess we will just have to deal with making our FP+ day of-in park.

Doc, I'll be with you in that case, one set from Feb trip (at OKW), one set on the way for our March trip (at AoA), and now AP set potentially coming for our May trip probably offsite.
 

I wonder if that means I can get a THIRD set of bands for my April trip. :)

An AP MagicBand will mean that by the end of 2014, DH and I will have six MBs EACH.
 
We're going in late April and I linked my tix etc and it had told me I"d be able to set up fp+ 60 days out. On that day it sort of opened a window to allow me to set them up, but then a pop up window came and said I am still not available for the "test" of the fp+ system. Grr! I had hopes up (still do) that we'll be able to pre-book our fastpasses. I check it every couple days, but still the same message. I did book a dining reservation hoping that would open it up, but no luck there either.
I'd be happy if it were open by the beginning of April, as some have heard, as it would at least allow us to avoid the in park, day of, set up.

Hi!:wave2: I get the exact same popup. My trip begins on april 27 . I have an adr for each day of my 10 day trip and am staying offsite. It still does not allow me to make fp+ selections. :crazy2: I pray it opens up by the 1st of April So that I can choose in advance. On the other hand there is always the controversial:stir: "Throw Away Room":confused3

I honestly don't understand the controversy with booking a throw away room. It's not like you are getting the room for free. There was a thread on here within the last week and the poster decided to book 2 rooms at Ft Wilderness so they could get bands. They are going to use the rooms too b/c they thought it would be fun. Why is the is wrong?

It's not controversial. If Disney wanted to change it, they could.
