Possible February Trip

Hi there! I'm looking to possibly do a short trip in February and need advice as far as when to go. I'm looking at these as possibilities...

• Wednesday, Feb. 1st (arriving at night) through Sunday, Feb. 5th (leaving at night)
• Friday, Feb. 3rd (arriving at night) through Tuesday, Feb. 7th (leaving at night)
• Wednesday, Feb. 22nd (arriving at night) through Sunday, Feb. 26th (leaving at night)
• Thursday, Feb. 23rd (arriving at night) through Monday, Feb. 27th (leaving at night)

I looked at crowd calendars at Easy WDW and **************.net. Their predictions are very different, so I'm not sure what to do.

Unfortunately, since I'm a teacher and only get two personal days, my time frame of going is very tight. I'm sick of going in August when it's hotter than the sun and can't afford to go at peak times. So, the money side of this is important to me, but since we have such a short window of time in which to go, we really need to make sure to go when it's not very crowded. I've never gone in February, so I'm not sure what to expect.

For those of you who have gone during those times, what do you suggest? Again, I'm concerned with crowd levels and prices. What was your experience like? Did you enjoy going in February? Why or why not?

We have gone in early February and you will get the cheapest resort rates and the lowest crowds during that time. The prices will rise quite a bit for later in February and it will be more crowded. President's weekend is always crowded. Any of the school holidays are busy.

Did you find that there were many ride refurbishments going on during that time? I haven't seen anything online about rides being closed during that time in 2017, but it's still a bit far out to know.

We went the last week in February this year. Crowds weren't bad. I think MK was the most crowded and it was a 4 on the crowd calendars. The weather was great when we went.

The TTC to MK monorail was down one day, and the Jungle cruise and Swiss Family Robinson treehouse were the only rides I can remember being down.

We go every year in February, Snow Birds. The weather has never been consistent. Most years all of Feb was great weather-wise, always warmer the later it gets in the month. This year El Nino, wet and cold a lot of days. Busiest times were around President's Day weekend/ Marathon weekend. DVC owners so can't help you with resort rates. CM mentioned once that the later in February forward starts their official "Spring Break" season. Have fun!!

Feb is awesome. The weather is great, crowd are super low. It is a fabulous time! We used to go every year the first wee of Feb and everything was basically a walk on. I would go at the beginning of the month, before the Feb breaks start.

The easyWDW calendar is for 2016, which may be part of the problem. You'll see crowds and high prices in February from the Thursday before President's Day through the Saturday after. The rest of the month is pretty sweet!
