Possible choices in November

After staying at BWV in late Oct, we are planning to book a 2 night stay on our way back through Orlando.

It will be Tue Nov 7th for 2 nights. We own at BWV and have stayed at BLT and SS numerous times. So which resort do I have the best chance of trying for this Friday at the 7th month window? Not OKW, but anything else.

Just curious. Poly and GF would be nice but I am doubtful. Or WL? What do you all think?

TIA

What size unit? If a studio, I think you are already too late

A 1 bedroom is preferable. Not a studio. But my 1st opportunity to book a 7 month resort is this Friday. Thanks

Looking for only two nights during the middle of that week in a 1BR means you should have a realistic chance of finding a few things open such as VGF, BLT lake view, BRV or AKV standard or savanna view (maybe not all of those, but more than one is likely -- note BWV pool/garden view is also a chance but I am assuming you have already booked there and are asking about switching). Moreover, if you can get a ressie for those two days at one of those, you can also consider switching to the new CCV which you can start reserving April 18.

Of the choices you can possibly do on April 7, I would, if open, go with BLT lake view or AKV Kidani savanna view. At either you get large 1BRs that can sleep five and have the twin size sleeper chair rather than the smaller size murphy bed you will find at VGF. At BLT, if you request and get high floor, you can get a fantastic view through those almost floor to ceiling and wall to wall windows in the living room, at Kidani you can get a good savanna view, and, if driving, you get to park near an elevator which is near your room because of the multiple elevators along the Kidani wings and the under-building parking. The BLT lot is also close enough to the builidng that you never have a real long walk.

VGF, if still open, would also be an OK choice but i consider its points prohibitive for a 1BR. Also, regardless of what you get, I would give serious consideration to trying to make that April 18 switch to CCV -- new resort, redone pools, new quck service restaurant, see the cabins, just a lot of new.

You should book your home resort now and look to switch later. At least you know you will have a place to stay.

Thanks for the input. We are not forced to stay(it's a long drive back to Texas from southern Florida) but would like to. We can stay at SS as they seem to have rooms. But we wanted something different. We are at BWV for a week the end of Oct. We have a 2bd water view, so we would rather not head back there. But I like the idea of booking and then trying to switch on the 18th to CVV. AKV is also a possibility.

Thanks again for your help.
