I would like your input... how impossible would it be to get a studio, or one bedroom for the middle of August for Beach club villas, Boardwalk or Old Key West.. would I be foolish to even try the first two? Thanks so much.

Never foolish to try! Pixie dust! In February I "gave up" 2 standard studios for a 2 bedroom, (Aug. 21 -24) plans change, and best wishes to you!

Thanks for the good wishes. My daughter starts nursing school after we would be getting back and I thought it would be a fun "blow out" with her and a friend before school starts. Her girlfriend has NEVER been to Disney. It would be so much fur for them. Thanks again.

I think it would be fairly easy....we have actually gotten a studio for a couple of nights in august on 1 days notice before.....obviously the later in august the better, and i think OKW would be more open.....we usually travel the third week in august, and have no problem getting a one or two bedroom 7 months out. So I would think a studio five months out would be OK......also, be willing to take what they have and wait list what you want....we have yet to have a wait list not work out for us (4 or 5 times)

I think you may have a reasonable chance at 5 months, but I would call right away to increase your chances. I agree with bobbiwoz, people often change plans and rooms may open up. Good Luck! :wizard: Sending some pixie dust.

We have even added a night to our reservation the day before in late August, so I think you will get something. easily!

I called last week for a studio for the first week of August, they had availability at BW, BC, OKW, SSR and even VWL....I was amazed...only thing they did NOT have available when I called was standard view at BW....so I ended up booking a preferred view there, but I was suprised at all that was available.

Good luck.

remember at night when you are tired that sofa bed can be a pain to take out -

take it out BEFORE you go do your night stuff - either the parks, BW or PI.

makes going to bed much easier.

Thanks for all the good wishes and advice! My mom was able to get a studio at the Boardwalk, preferred view. Woohoo! I think she has the whole stay (5 nights) waitlisted for a Boardwalk view also. Some are against doing the whole stay that way (wait listed) and others think that daily is very very chancey... others think it would work out better that way.. possibly more chance of getting them day by day... what do you all think??? Thanks again!
