Keep pit! It is hard to get and the rooms are gorgeous!! Was just thinking about how much i miss it, what room type are you in?

I remembered your trip report from your stay there, definitely one of the things that made me really want to stay there!

that's ultimately what I landed on - PIT is hard to get and I was lucky to snag 3 nights there! We're in a 1BD preferred view for 3 nights at PIT and then 2 days in a 2BD standard at RIV. I have a 1BD resort view waitlisted for our nights at PIT and keep stalking availability to see if I can snag it, but not counting on it! Really excited to try both resorts for the first time!

I know the feeling Like what am I supposed to do now after trying so hard at the slots for days.

So at blt ive always booked preferred in hopes of getting a tpv because a lot of them do have fireworks view shoot even some resort views do but I haven't tried that yet. To me 16 points is worth that balcony fireworks view esp for the first time and if not the lake view of the electrical pageant is great too.

Nothing like fireworks from your balcony with the music piped in and watching in your pajamas with your family and not having to deal with crowds or rude ppl I have yet to stay in a one bedroom yet and cant wait for that!

So, for the dates I'm targeting, resort view is 107 points, preferred is 123, and TP is 150. And, plan is for one of the three nights, we'd be doing MMNSCHP, so I think I'm passing on TP view. And, I think I'd actually rather like a nice view of Bay Lake in the mornings and evenings more so than TP view.

So, if I'm going to play the slots game, I think I'm going to see just how hard it would be to get resort view. I've got enough points to keep a preferred view reservation and a resort view reservation, so I think I'll just target resort view and see what happens. Sort of just want to see if I can get it. If not, I'll be perfectly happy with preferred view (and I actually have a back-up CCV 1 BR booked that is 112 points, so if I really want to save points, that will work too).

Thought a little bit about VGF or PIT, but both of their resort view 1 BRs would be more than BLT preferred. That said, if they popped up as available, I'd be a bit tempted too. I think my WLs will be on the BLT resort view 1 BRs.

Hard to pinpoint but been a general time period since its restart in 2023. Last three years was on a Monday. Hope lands perfectly to the slots tries.

It happened this year. I was in WDW for a MM but came home then went to CA MM right after. I grumbled about how tired I was and was like ughh another flight to Disney. But Im going to try and do it again! Just like I always say never again will I take the red eye. Taking the red eye next month to WDW.

I was in the resort view with parking lot view and loved it so you have a nice preferred view. I think watching the fireworks from the terrace is worth it. Its a different vibe than blt that is close and big so its really cool but poly its just so pretty seeing it over the water.

Curious to hear your thoughts on both resorts!

I havent been willing to fork over the point difference for tpv blt either, its just such a big point difference i think its a little ridiculous tbh

I almost made one in September few years back for Animal Kingdom. Weather is real that time of year. Instead we probably had more of an exciting stay as Hurricane Ian passed over Old Key West.

I booked every monday in feb except for presidents day because im banking they wont do it on a holiday weekend, we shall see!
