You know I find it funnying how people just just like to bash the BCV, I think that if you look at the poll that CaptainMidnight pointed out, if you look at how many people voted (356) it is not that many compared to how many DVC member (over 70,000)there are. I think its a great resort, is there going to be something wrong once in a while, sure there will be, but if you were to go into every DVC resort there will be one room out of ten that will have something that is not working or is not as clean as we would all like. If all of us DVC owners thought of "our" home resort as our home we would'nt have to have a post like this one were we have to keep reminding ourself why we like to have our vacations at an DVC resort.

Shan, Thank you for this thread. I have been getting a little nervous about all of the negative posts about BCV. I want to be sure we made the right choice buying @ BCV. It was nice to hear all of the positives here on this thread. Thanks!

A day at Stormalong Bay is always magic. We have wonderful memories and look forward to making more here! The place SMELLS good -- fresh and clean. I love Art the Greeter, although he is not unique to the Villas, of course. Being close to Beaches & Cream is GREAT. Hurricane Hannah's serves the kiddie meals in little buckets -- great idea. Sometimes at night you'll see little duck families swimming in the Stormalong Bay pools -- this is one of my daughter's favorite WDW memories! The common areas are gorgeous -- clean and pastel, with hidden Mickey paintings! They have great DVC stuff for sale in the store...

I always like the fresh flower arrangements in the BC lobby, and shopping in the BC gift shop.

We loved BCV! After staying there this past March I am having trouble getting my family try out the other DVC resorts (I want to try them all). They have agreed to 1-2 nights at VWL but then we HAVE to move back to BCV.

We loved the pool.
We loved Beaches and Cream (had the Kitchen Sink).
We loved going over to the Boardwalk.
We loved being able to walk to Epcot.
We loved the view of the lake.
We loved the beauty of the resort.
We loved the whole place!
