just watched 5 minutes of it. Awful. And geez, Steven Gutenburg looks SOO old and I just realized he's my age. Dang, I look a MUCH better!

Wow, I had to do a double-take to realize that WAS Steve Guttenberg! Anyhow, I watched about 1/2 hour, then switched at 9:00 to watch the last episode of Rome (and TiVo Desperate Housewives).

Did they totally write out the Gene Hackman/preacher character or did I miss it?

I taped the last hour so I could watch Grey's Anatomy. It is just bad, they showed a regular toilet, with a tank on the back, don't think so. Plus the crew cabin was huge, looked about the size of a suite. I might believe a tidal wave could capsize a ship but this just didn't make sense at all. Still I'll probably watch the rest of it.

Rutger Hauer playing a Bishop, but he was not the leader like the Hackman character.

This is DISNYMAMA (we are having trouble logging off) THIS MOVIE BITES!!!
I'm in Calif. waiting for the capsize then I'll turn on Desperate Housewives and Grays Anatamy. Oh my Gosh, I can't believe this plot line, they just shot the captain. What, no tidal wave to cause the ship to capsize! UNBELIEVABLE that they could put that kind of cr&% on TV and try to lure me away from my shows. Shame on them. I have changed the channel over to ABC and am a happy camper.

I watched the last 10 minutes and pretty much figure I got the whole gist of the entire show. Wow, that was some BAD acting!

I was so upset with Rome!!! Did you notice that it didn't even start until 9:05 and then ended at 9:50? Come on! After last week's great episode, couldn't they have done better? Caesar's attack was so brutal. And I cried over Niobe. What a waste. DH thinks it won't be back for a 2nd season, but IMO it has to be so we can see what happens between Servilia, Atia, and Octavian. The look he gave Servilia was priceless.

I graduated in 77 and it was like my badge of honor that I went through the 70's never seeing a disaster movie. I saw some movies that were disasters, but I have never seen any Airport movies, Jaws, P. Adventure. I figured why break my record now.

Bleech, no I didn't watch it. Remakes are usually soooo awful! We watched a few minutes of a remake of the Parent Trap that was on last week. AWFUL!

I loved the original and thought Shelley Winters was wonderful as was most of the cast. Did you know she was nominated for an Academy Award for her part in the PA?

Yeah it was somewhat cheesy but still a movie that gave me the horrors. Just another reason I'll never go on a cruise!

ETA: We watched something REALLY scary last night... Mini Ice Age. It was on the History Channel and delt with global warming. Now that was really frightening!
