Sure will. I know that the Portsmouth Brewery and Barnacle Bills are on our agenda as they are our regular stops. Want to try the Maine Diner in Wells this time as it got so many great reviews.

Made a list of everyone's suggestions so I know we won't go wrong wherever we go.

Used to work in Portsmouth, and have eaten just about everywhere there. A few of my favorites:

Dos Amigos... not fancy, but reasonably priced, yummy mexican-style food.

Ri Ra... Irish pub

Portsmouth Gas Light, downstairs pizza buffet special (lunch). Exactly what it sounds like.

Rosa's, on state street... pretty good italian food

Portsmouth Brewery... a deep selection of beers and tasty food too.

I second Billy's Chowder House on Mile Rd in Wells. The lobster stew is heaven in a bowl! We have a condo on Moody Beach and go up for a least a few days every summer since I was 9. Billy's is a must-do every time!

That photo is great incentive. Any suggestions for food on Mass Pike or 495 heading up through Lawrence? Sometimes people have favorite places to stop at other than the usual fast food places.

You will love the Maine Diner! We have been for breakfast, lunch & dinner, and loved every meal we had! Be prepared for long wait, but is worth it.

Thank you to every one! Just got back and had many great meals. Maine Diner was very good. Lobster Pie was very good but very rich. When Pigs Fly had good pizza but I liked the attached bread store even better.

The Friendly Toast in Portsmouth - we had a fabulous breakfast. Just loved looking at all of the eclectic decorations. Great place!

Barnacle Billy's - can't beat the view. Love the atmosphere of the original restaurant. Apparently George and Barbara Bush do as well. The waitress told us he dines there several times a month and is very cordial to all.

One of my favorites is Allison's in Kennebunkport. The have great lobster rolls and even better clam chowder.

Have to recommend the Lobster Cruise out of Kennebunkport. It was very interesting and just long enough.
