Woo-hoo, just made my ADRs and got all the ones I want EXCEPT Portobello Yacht Club can only be booked 180 days from the dat you want to eat there As I'm in the UK and hate forking out for transatlantic phone calls , does anyone think I really need an ADR for a lunch there on 5th december?

I'm so excited now

We arrived there for dinner at 7:00 in early May. Our ADR was for 8:00, but we hoped to get in early. We were in luck as the restaurant was more than half empty. I don't know if this is always the case but since it is not on the DDP, I think that helps to keep it not so busy.

Thanks Camcolt Maybe we'll play it by ear. I know it doesn't get very good reviews, so we'll probably turn up on spec

We didnt think it was bad, but we weren't overly thrilled with it either. We had higher expectations so it was disappointing.

I like takeaway from Waitrose when I visit London. Yum - Chicken Korma!

But you probably won't need an ADR, certainly not 180 days out anyway. I really have enjoyed the PYC.

I think you should be fine walking in for lunch. We have done this several times.
