Portland Sea Dogs

Just wondering if there is a hotel that you can walk to the down town area from and how far the portland sea dogs are from the down town area? anything else you recommend doing or eating at would be awesome. Thank you.

I live the portland area, we go to the sea dogs from time to time. Closest hotel would still be a bit of a walk to the ball field. Not sure just how far but maybe two miles or so. Portland has some great food! Not just sea food but that is one of the best to get when here! Small place on commercial street called Benny's , a Little shack that serves deep fried seafood and it maybe some of the best around! Other end of commercial street is an Irish place Ri Ra's great food and nice place on the water. If you want Chinese food there is a place near the ball field on St. John's st, can't remember the name it is a Ross from the McDonalds . Always was good haven't eaten there in a while. Portland dine around has a web site that list all the places in portland to eat with reviews I think. Have fun and enjoy!

P.S. the sea dogs ball field is a ways from the downtown area, or old port are. You could walk it but its a hike and up and down hills too.
