I have 2 children who will be 4 and 7 when we hit WDW next July. I just wondered what the portion sizes are like for the children to know if they should just share or have 1 each?

Many Thanks Louise xx

They will probably not be able to share. The kids meals are pretty small. A serving of CS nuggets is 4, with a cup of applesauce, and mini bag of crackers. Other servings are 1 chicken drumstick, etc. They are all served in mickey plates that are pretty small. Previously at TS we haven't been able to share because the meat portion is small but there may be lots of extra fries. TS menus have change though and they are apparently now being served in the same little dishes. If you aren't on the dining plan having 2 kids share 1 adult meal may be better depending on the kids likes/dislikes.

My 7 yr old is a very small eater and he actually ate all of the main course a few times when we were there so I don't think average eaters would be able to share.

Our DN 1.5 typically ate two child meals at each meal. (Her DN6 brother barely finished his one child meal. Go figure!)
