So it looks like it is only $100 more a day for club level.... So what exactly is included in cl! Should we do it? Thanks for any info....

we had it added on last week during our stay and it was 50.00

for us it was definately worth it-we spend a lot of time at the resort.

breakfast had- a toaster with toast and bagels
boiled eggs-pastries and muffins- cereals and milk- oj and apple juice-
mixed fruit and regular and strawberry yougart- coffee and tea

canned sodas were on a separate table all day- bottled water was available also

mid-morning they had goldfish and chips and salsa- bags of pretzels, chips,
cracker jacks-pbj's

evening they had caesar salad that was fantastic and two hot dishes - usually
italian themed-a cheese and cracker tray- several wines and beers

dessert was cookie trays and cake of some kind- coconut and lemon while we
were there and tiramisu and cannolis

Do a search here and you will find a great thread about PBR Club Level with lots of pictures.

It made our vacation at the end of August. However we are a family of 5 including 3 hungry teenagers so that has some bearing. Also, our rate at the time was 40% off rack. But, even if it was a draw financially the convenience was worthwhile. To take advantage of it, you do have to preplan a bit.
For us the hardest part was that we hit the parks at opening so we had to "force" ourselves to eat some breakfast earlier than we are normally hungry.

We would stop by breakfast on the way out. We usually sat where you could look out the window and the boat dock. If we saw the boat come into the "port" under the bridge and we were pretty much finished eating we would head right out and grab the boat.
Since we hit the parks early we would make a fairly early lunch our main meal of the day. Tired by early to mid afternoon we would go back to Porto and usually grab a drink or small snack on our way to room. We would nap or swim. If going back to parks we would stop by Club late afternoon/early evening and have a glass of wine and the pasta and salads. We were never hungry for dinner after that so at most had a snack at the parks or shared a meal. At park close, we again stopped by the Club room for dessert than off to bed.
With the 5 "almost" adults, we definitely got our money's worth in savings over full restaurant meals.
Our down side was that the put us really, really far away from the club room it was really only convenient when we were coming and going. I like idea of how it is at PRP or HR, with the club room on the same floor as the guest rooms. However, the PRP and HR rooms seem really small for our group, and in our one experience at HR we constantly heard noises from the hall and other rooms. PBH was very quiet.

Not all of the club rooms at RPR are on the same level as the lounge....found that out the hard way last month.

club is floor 7.

those that are upgraded, can be on other floors.

there are guests that decide to add on club once they check in.
they stay in the room/floor they checked into.

if you book a club king suite, and no king suites are available, you can be put on a lower floor if you refuse to take a standard room on Cl.

In November, 2010 I booked a club level stay at RPR for August, 2011 and still got a 6th floor room instead of being on the 7th floor. So, being on a different floor than the lounge is not limited to those who add it at check in.

I'll let you know next week. :)

We're spending 2 nights in Club Level at PB -- we downgraded from the Seuss Suite when they... de-Seussified it. We're there celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary. I proposed to her at PB in 2000.

i remember you!!!

hope you have a great time there for your anniversary.

Thank you, I am sure we will. We're all very, very, excited!

For me, there are too many good places to eat at the Portofino. When we splurge for the club/concierge level, we fell compelled to take advantage of it (not in a fill our pockets with muffins way). One of the things I like about the Portofino is grabbing snacks/lunch at Sal's Markey or Splendido's while we are lounging by the pool or hitting Gelateria at night. If we did the club level, we'd probably skip those places feeling like we should be eating the offerings in the club lounge.

As most people will be in a rush in morning to make use of early entry, are you allowed to take stuff with you, or do you have to eat it there.

How much earlier than the Early Hours benefit does it open usually?
