Hello!
Finalizing a few more details and wanted to confirm a few things ... TYIA :-)

1. We are driving ourselves to PC and will be parking the car during our 3 night cruise. Will I need to drop off our bags to the porters BEFORE we park in the garage?

2. How much do people usually tip the porters?

3. Do you tip the ports at disembarkation?

4. Are regular tips on board $12/pp/day?

5. Parking at PC for 3 night cruise is $60??

THANK YOU again!!
Cheers!

THANK YOU again DISNEY FANTASY for your prompt reply!!! I truly appreciate it!!! Quick clarification ... 1st time cruiser with DCL, so when we disembark, will we have the option to pick up our bags by ourselves and then wheel them to the car by ourselves or do the porters get your bags for you? TY!!!!

2. How much do people usually tip the porters? - $2/per bag, maybe a little more if you have really heavy bags

3. Do you tip the ports at disembarkation? - Only if you use them... Again, $2/per bag, maybe a little more if you have really heavy bags

THANK YOU!!! ... clarification .... will they add the tip for bar tabs directly on to my bill? For example, if I get a glass of wine for $6, will the bill's total have $6 for the wine PLUS the tip already added on to the bill? I'm assuming they charge this to our room/on board account? THANKS again!

Yes. I forget the exact % at this moment, but it's something in the neighborhood of 15%-20%. There will also be a line on the receipt for a tip, but remember that one is already included. You wouldn't be the first (or the last) to get fooled by that and severely overtip for a drink...

Obviously, feel free to throw a few extra bucks to a great server for an excellent cruise. We had a bar server on Voyager of the Seas that found us everyday and knew exactly what we were drinking and took excellent care of us for a 7-day cruise. We threw him an extra $50 at the end of the week for superior service. We ran into him a year later on Freedom of the Seas and he not only remembered us, he remembered what we were drinking A FULL YEAR LATER!!!! He asked about members of the group from the previous year who weren't on that cruise. A tipped him an extra $100 on that cruise ($50 of it just for his amazing memory...)

NICE!!!! I agree as well!!! I always tip extra for EXCELLENT service (especially "above and beyond!!)

Are there porters still on the 1st level of the parking garage? We have always parked on the 1st level and just wheeled our luggage over to them or stop at them before we go to a different level to park. The curb out front is always a zoo. Haven't cruised out of PC for about 2 years.
