I know my guide told me that when you check in at your resort you are given the portable perks guide. My question is, DO they ALWAYS give it to you? or do you have to ask. I have had my experiences with check ins, and sometimes they are a lil bit forgetful

We've always gotten one at all the WDW DVCs. Since you know about it now, check your Welcome Home package (which you'll get at check-in) and make sure there's one in there.

We have always gotten one since they started giving them out when we stayed on points. If we stay but not on points, I ask and have always been given one or a full member packet. BTW, DL has them also but you have to ask.
