Portable battery for cellphones

We bought the RavPower Luster (3000 mAh) and they work great. Can recharge the phone completely twice and it's so small and light that I can walk around with it in my pocket all day and forget it is there. Get the 2nd Gen version, it should only cost about $10 if you hit a sale.

I asked this same question last trip and someone mentioned the jackerey it was ridiculously huge and I returned it back to Amazon. Just go to best buy and buy the mophie it was small and did the trick perfectly my last trip I also use a smaller bag to tour the parks and it took up barely any space in my purse

My iPhone 5 kept a charge fine in the parks all day, but it's good to carry a charger for times when I may have forgotten to charge at the hotel or have many apps running. I have an Anker e3 but it's heavy and large for a small purse. I prefer my Anker mini lipstick charger. (Just need to know that it doesn't begin charging until you push the button on top.) 20 bucks well spent.

Yes absolutely necessary. DD is is a battery killer and we have actually have had good luck with the $15 cheap one from Walmart.

I bought this one with 2 ports from Amazon to charge my iPhone 6 Plus and 2 kids' iPods while in the park:

I also have the Anker Astro Mini, 2nd Gen 3200 mah. I love it. I got it for Christmas so that I would have one for our Disney trip this year. I've been using it, and it is very light, and small (think lipstick size but a little longer) and I get one full from dead phone charge plus more than half another charge out of a fully battery on the charger. Since I rarely run my phone down to almost dead, I get 2+ charges out of it before having to charge the Anker Astro mini. It's the best $15 I spent and it's on sale for $12.99 right now on Amazon. I've had no problems with it charging etc.

My plan is to pick up one of these for our summer trip, and then just attach it to my camera bag as we wander around the parks. Maybe I'm just being a hippie, but I like the solar aspect of it
