How's this place? I'm trying to decide if we should plan to eat one TS meal at DTD one night of our stay.

Altho I think the kids would like Planet Hollywood and House of Blues (altho we have one of those in Beantown), I can't stand cavernous noise while I'm eating. And something tells me these would be roarin'.

So I was thinking about Potabello's. Good Italian here?

Thanks!

Amazing food.
Very pricey.
In case you're on the dining plan - Portabello's is not (at least it wasn't on the 2007 plan).

We enjoy Portabello Yacht Club. You didn't say age of your children. This is not a place that a lot of children or even young teenagers would probably enjoy. It's pricey with an interesting menu and it's going to have a more adult clientele.

If you are wanting TS that is not as noisy as Planet Hollywood, you might also want to check out Wolfgang Pucks Cafe. It's probably somewhere in between Planet and Portabello as far as pricing and atmosphere.

Although, the food is very good at Portabello Yacht Club (it is not your usual Italian fare of spaghetti, meatballs and lasagna), my DW says she never wants to go back. The restaurant suffers from tables being too close together....We were crammed into a window table so tight that it would be impossible for an overweight person to sit at the ajoining seat behind me. Also, what little ambience is left is overshadowed by the extreme noise level. Sorry, it's hard for me to enjoy spending $50+ per person when stuffed into a cramped noisy space. :rolleyes1

Thanks! Doesn't look like a good fit (since I'm that chubby person who would be crammed into a wall! LOL!). Our kids (15 & 13) like nice restaurants and good food, so tons of atmosphere is not always needed for our meals, and with so many other great places, I think I'll look around and find us a nice resort meal.

I think we'll stick with CS if we boat over to DTD.
