Hi can you tell me about port orleans riverside?we are a family of 5 and thinking about stayin there?

thanks for the info. another one looking to stay at the riverside since it's 5 of us. is the preferred room worth the $169. heard there can be a lot of walking and anywhere we can save some walking for tired little feet it's always welcomed!!!

so, even though that's on-site and we're in the off-site board I'll give me feedback

I LOVE love love FQ. Because I love love love New Orleans and the theming is exquisite.

I stayed at POR in January for the first time and it KILLED me the walking. I'm gimpy though. I only went to the hot tub once because I didn't feel like limping there to get some relief then limping back.

It was better after I rented my scooter. The theming is okay. I preferred POP, POFQ, OKW and FW.


now you HAVE to try Boatrights -- bread pudding!

One other thing, if you like the area, and don't want offsite, check into renting points and staying at Old Key West. You park your car right outside the buildings! And if you need to be near the bus stop there are 3 (iirc) so more opportunities to be near it.

You should also check out the 'We love Bonnet Creek' and see what you can afford in the way of offsite that is really close to Pop Century.

If you plan on using the food court i would say positively yes! (we have stayed preferred both times we stayed at PO)

We stayed there once. The walking is insane and we're in decent shape. It felt like it took forever to go back and forth to the bus stop. Also, we had someone above us who was having some sort of problem because they flushed the toilet about 3 times every night in the middle of the night. It was really loud!

We stayed at French Quarter and loved it. Lovely theme, and its small, so not too much walking. We did take the boat over to POR and it was lovely too, but way spread out
