We are going to WDW in December for the site visit/planning session (thankfully they will let us do it early because hubby will be deployed next year). I was just wondering if you prefer French Quarter or Riverside? (I stayed at the Riverside when I was about 13 during our cheerleading competition, but only remember falling on the bridge near the restaurant! lol) It is just the two of us, and we will be there for Christmas and New Years eve.

Also, if anyone has any suggestions on where to eat Christmas eve and Christmas dinner please share :goodvibes

SailorsPrincess,
I personally like Riverside better than the French Quarter. I love going to The Boatwright- especially for breakfast. The french toast is AWESOME! When we stay in Disney, this is usually always the resort that we stay at. We usually request to stay in the mansions, but I have heard positives about closeness to bustops and such for the bayous.

I personally like the Riverside better than French Quarter. I've stayed in both the mansions and the bayou, and I must say that I absolutely love the coziness of the rooms at the bayou :goodvibes

Riverside for sure. As far as Christmas Dinner it depends on what you like. I would say do something fun like LTT with all the characters and the atmosphere of the MK getting ready for Christmas unless you want to avoid the craziness of the MK that time of year and eat at a resort were it would probably be alot quieter
