Port Orleans & Riverside?? Why is it closed?

I searched and can't find anything about them being refurbished. Any rumors of when they might be available? We are planning a trip for January 2022 and are hoping to stay at Riverside.

Guess it is lack of staff availability. Huge resort that requires a lot of staff.

I am checking every day in the hopes they will announce it reopening. They keep increasing park capacity so I would hope resorts would come back online. I know that finding enough workers is a real thing though. I can keep hoping.

I don't remember where but someone said it was being used for storage... So maybe that plus the lack of housekeepers and staff available right now

I think you're right with more and more park capacity opening up its just a matter of time before they bring those two online again...although I can see them starting with French Quarter first maybe just because it's smaller.

I keep checking every single day for an announcement for this too! Have you stayed there before? We haven’t and we are really excited!
