Port Orleans Riverside Q ??

I have a question about Port Orleans Riverside resort. We will be staying there for a night before our 3 day cruise in February. We will make a trip to Downtown Disney that night with our 4 & 2 year old boys. Since the resort is huge
which wing/building should I request for our room so that it is closer to the ferry and also for the DCL coach pickup the next day !

If you're staying on the Alligator Bayou side, buildings 14 or 15 are good locations. I'm not sure about the Mansion side.

We stayed in AB bldg 15 and it was close to everything! Bldgs 14 and 18 are convenient as well. I'm not sure but bldg 18 may also be smoking. I hope this helps

I stayed at bldg. 14 and it was really close to everything..the parkinglot and the food

Don't panic if they do put you in Bldg. 18 though. We got placed there and I started to worry about the "smoking optional" part I had read about. The CM at the desk told me that info was not true or had been changed so I tried it and sure enough NEVER smelled or saw smoke in the 5 days I was there. It was close to the bus stop and the food court/ boat, etc. You can't go wrong with 14, 15 or 18.

On the mansion side, Oak Manor is also close - just a short walk across a bridge. It might also be quieter since it is not right next to the main resort building.

You can take a bus to DTD as well. So, if you do get put in one of the buildings which are farther away, you can grab a bus at one of the bus stops. There are 4 stops.

Thanks for all your responses !! I called the resort directly yesterday and they said they can assign a roon only 5 days in advance. Since I am checking in Feb 1 it will have to be January 27th !! I am going to request a room in AB 14,15 or 18 !!!
