I just booked a return stay to POR for 5/17-5/24! Through the Orbitz discount we were able to afford a preferred room! We are very excited for our 2nd trip to the resort!

Not back yet. Still getting stuff back that I loss from stroke. Speaking is working great, writing and typing I am still working on. I have taken a leave of absence at the time with not a sure return date.

Glad things are gradually getting back to normal for you - sounds like a proper Disney vacation would be a great idea for you though. Just as long as you are still on the system so you get your CM room discount and the park admission perks for your family though, it wouldn't do to miss out on those!!

This was funny(now) My DD(10) was sitting with me and saw your ticker with the dreaded red monorail And commented "doesn't that person know its a bad monorail!" I started laughing. It has been just over 5 years and she still remembers being stuck for hours on it in the middle of the night. Needless to say we are not allowed to use the "Dreaded Red" monorail, heck it took a bit to convince her to even get back on any of them.

I'am a 54 female traveling solo, booked at Pop from Feb 28 - Mar 3 and looking forward to switch my package to FOFQ or POR . Love both resorts and had stayed once at each one. The GV is available at POR with the SO and also the GV at POFQ with a Come Back offer I received. Which area do you recommend at POR. I stayed at the Acadian house in front of the parking lot but wish to be closer to the food court. This time I will not be renting a car. Thanks in advance for you recommendations.

Every gift shop in every resort and park carries ponchos. They may keep them behind the counter when it's not raining, though.

Ewe stopped wearing ponchos. They usually make you take them off before getting on a ride so you don't get the seats all wet. We take retractable umbrellas now.

Lol! Yeah, we've gotten to the point we don't even notice them hanging by the strap from our wrists. Of course, we don't bother if it's not going to rain a lot, then we just duck into a building until it stops.
