Tking my daughter on the horse and carriage ride while there....how far in advance should I make the reservations?

Was hoping someone could answer a question for me-the hubby wants to fish while we are at Disney. We looked into the fishing excursion but it is a little much for just the hubby and son. I know they rent the cane poles at Port Orleans but he is wondering if he can bring his own pole to fish there. We are staying at Port Orleans but didn't know if they allow you to use our own fishing pole. Don't want to bring it and be told we can't use it. Any help would be appreciated. Less then a month and we'll be there. :-)

we were there this past Sept. and made reservations the morning of our ride. You have 2 routes to choose from. We chose the ride to POFQ. I wished that we had done the ride around POR as the one to POFQ was basically along the river- so was much of what you see from the boat. As we were in building 14 and hubby had walking issues we didn't see much of POR-so that route would have been better for us. That said it was a lovely ride and I am glad we did it.

Coppertone.

Excellent! Thank you! Is it the sport one in the blue bottle? I am running the PHM and also have sensitive skin, so I have to be careful what I use. I will have a little in my carryon, but wanted to make sure it would be safe to put the rest in my checked bag, in case it gets lost. Yes, these are things I think of. lol

They have a couple different flavors of Coppertone with the blue sport bottle being one of them. :thumbsup2

I have to update my Sig picture now, but I switched and will be giving POR another chance. I am on the Official dates roster now as 4/4 - 4/12. Not very many April dates yet.

This might be an odd question but can anyone tell me what is acceptable as a dessert on DDP at Riverside Grill or Floatworks? I am looking on Allears at the menu and I see that almost every dessert is a snack credit but I know that doesn't always mean they count as dessert.

In the mill a dessert would be considered anything from the bakery (cakes, cookies, iced coffee, cappuccinos, ice cream etc) or anything non-alcoholic from the market (chips, fruit, a small side salad, a second drink, etc) You can also get soup, fries, or a side of breadsticks as your dessert. Some cashiers will let a side of Mac and cheese work as a dessert, but others won't.

We are here at POR until Feb. 5! Alligator Bayou Building 28! We requested a corner room, ground floor and building 16 or 18. We got corner room, ground floor but all the way out at building 28, which really is not too bad of a walk, and right between 2 bus stops. Loving it so far! The kids LOVED the pool yesterday. Today is freezing however!
