Just an FYI! I checked in yesterday (did online check in) and we took the red eye from Oregon and arrived at 5:15am yesterday into MCO. We picked up our own luggage at baggage claim and made our way to the ME. Shocking I know, but it was empty! We waited on the bus for about 30 minutes, we only had about 10 people on the bus. Which was fine because we were exhausted from a long flight with no sleep. Arrived to POR at 6:45am, and our room was ready! I was shocked. I sent a fax in stating I was willing to pay extra for an early room because I knew we would be exhausted. Also asked for a top floor and corner. Everything was met!

We are in Alligator Bayou bldg 35 right by the west stop. We love it! Nice and quiet. Only had to wait for a bus for about 5 minutes yesterday. Loving it so far! Thank you for all the help!

Glad to hear they were able to help you out with so much magic for you!

I haven't clicked on every one of the 2,048 rooms but it sure looks that way. :thumbsup2

I would say they have pics for all the rooms in the preferred section. I've looked at a good bit of those mostly on the ground floor. And you can click and see the room to the left, right and above. I wonder how long it took for someone to walk around and take a picture outside every room. I'm really glad they did.

Yes it looks like whatever you click you get a photo. So yes it looks like it. It is really nice to see the options.

Yup, they have all 2,048 rooms (and all of FQ too). I was chatting to Len from touringplans about it, and they sent someone round to snap the view outside every single room.

I didn't know this, but it's great to know. :) I looked at some of the rooms and it's nice to get an idea of where you might be. And also what views at some of the other resorts would be like. :)

I tried a 15-20 rooms and only noticed a handful of inconsistencies.

I love being able to see the views. I love POR. I hope we get an upper corner room. My youngest has always wanted to stay on an upper floor. Somehow in all of our vacations we have always been down stairs. :)

I'd request upper floor, but since I want an AB room and there are no elevators, I'm thinking ground floor might be easier with a stroller...

We had a 2nd floor room in September and we use a BOB stroller. It's a big stroller. With that being said we had no problems what so ever with getting it up and down without an elevator. I would say don't let your stroller be your deciding factor in whether you want a ground floor room or an upper floor room.

We will be back in May and again will request an upper floor room and will still be using the BOB stroller.

I'm thinking more along the lines of ease of transporting DD in the stroller, not the stroller itself. :-) The mornings wouldn't be horrible because she could walk if need be, but coming back at night...much easier to put her in the stroller asleep and push her back to the room as opposed to carrying her. :-)

Just trying to do some planning/logistics for our late May trip. What time do we need to be at the bus stop if we want to get to MK in time for rope drop?

I would say to be at the bus stop by 7:45. That way you have time to make it to MK, get through bag check/security and be close to the front of the crowd at the gates. The opening show starts 10 minutes til 9 and you don't want to miss it! It's the official start of the day! Lol.
