Looks good to me (for what that's worth anyway! :) ).

By the way, did you mean to write 'plans' or 'planes'?

Hope you all have a wonderful time!

Andre

Yes, planes- thanks! I missed that! And thanks for reading and for all the assistance you provide. :)

As a Brit, I'm not quite sure how you decorate a resort for the fall generally? Leave lots of golden brown autumnal leaves all over the place maybe?

Exactly! Pumpkins, fall flowers (mums), autumnal colors like red, orange and yellow in the flower arrangements. Things like that.

How far out should we begin looking for our Magic Bands ?

We leave in 34 days, it's not like we;re getting excited or anything. Does anyone know how to make time FLY ?????

We have an 8:35am ADR @ Chef Mickey's and I was considering taking a cab, does anyone know if I will need a car seat? We are not bringing one on the plane with us so I'm not sure if taking a cab can be an issue...

Thanks again!

We check in next Sunday and we got ours around the 3-4th....so almost 3 weeks out?

Anytime we travel we have never needed or were asked for a car seat for a taxi ride.

Car seats are unfortunately not required in a cab

Buses start running at 6:30 am so you shouldn't need one.

They ship next day air, the day after your last day to customize. I got mine at 29 days out and that seems to be the general consensus.

We thought POR was beautiful too. One night in the busy food court, my husband went through the line with our daughter. The CM charged him two TABLE service credits instead of two counter service credits. Luckily, we keep our receipts and I noticed it. The front desk took care of it right away but I highly recommend keeping your receipts or at least looking at them carefully each time you use your meal credits.

Ugh! Just saw my quote. I just love auto correct on my phone. I meant the CM "double" charged me. The CMs are still the best even in complete chaos.

Anyone having online check in troubles this morning??

Thought it was just me. I did mine a few days ago, but I haven't been able to do my in-laws (their reservation is on my account). Started trying Thursday. Still can't today. Emailed Disney Friday because I haven't had a chance to sit on the phone with them yet. Maybe it is system-wide, and it will be fixed soon.

Hello all,
We are planning a trip for Dec. 2014. This would be our first time staying at PO Riverside. My question is in the AB rooms how is the storage? My wife loves to unpack and put things away. With the murphy bed it doesn't seem like there is a dresser in the room. Is there anywhere to
clothes?

Thanks:thumbsup2

Not sure if your question was answered... We have not stayed at this resort before but will be there in 25 days. I have asked the same question and was told there is not much storage at all... in fact I was advised to bring a hanging closet organizer and collapsible laundry hamper. I bought them and they are already packed in the suitcases. They cost about 14.00 each at Target. Good luck.

For an 8:30am MK dining reservation I would be at the Port Orleans South Depot bus stop no later than 7:30am, and maybe a little earlier to be absolutely safe. And if you find you're a bit early, just spend some time taking photos on a deserted Main Street USA - you don't often get the chance!

Yep...hoping the OP saw our posts...she never posted back again after we told her. Don't think she will make her res in time leaving that late :sad2: And yes, with that res time you want to take advantage of the empty Main Street! :thumbsup2 Doesn't happen often!

They basically don't want you doing anything that will leave permanent marks, or anything that the CMs would have to spend time cleaning away after you've left. Vinyl clings are fine, as is that sticky putty stuff (called blu-tack in the UK), but not pins or sticky tape which could leave holes or damage/leave marks on the paintwork.

If you are designing larger images, remember that although all the windows are about 5 ft wide, they are divided up into smaller panes which vary by location. FQ has four panes across by three high, AB downstairs just has four large square panes, while AB upstairs has the same, but each one is divided again into 4 (so 16 panes in all). The mansion buildings vary between the four large panes and the 16 small ones.

You can do this all year round if you wish by the way, I've seen some nice window decorations in the past:

Thanks Andre! Love this pic! I will bring the suction cup hooks then! And, we will be sure not to stick anything to the windows that leaves a mark. I thought that was the policy but was not 100% sure :)

Returned home late Saturday night from our stay at Riverside. This was our first time staying here. Sad to be back to reality, but we did book bounceback for next year though. If anyone has any questions, I would be glad and try to answer them.

At POR now. The wait for MDE on Sat was long, but everything else is great. Rain storms here now, we were on the boat from DTD to POR but only made it to POFQ due to lightening.

If you keep a car at the resort and choose to drive to parks, do you have to pay for parking at the parks or is it free to resort guests??

It's free to resort guests. :) You'll get a parking permit during check-in that you'll put on your dashboard.

Yes at check in one of the finishing questions is did you drive or arrive by car? That is where we issue you a complimentary parking pass for your automobile.

Here now.... Love our royal room, we got a ground floor corner in oak. Paid for and gota standard view but as I lay here on the bed watching it pour out of my windows I see no parking lot. It's definitely not a garden or river view but still beautiful. Even dh loves the room because of all the details. As i said its pouring! Our shoes are soaked! We left dhs about 2 hours ago its been raining nonstop but @ least my room is beautiful :-)

33 days away...we got Mickey mail today YAY!!!!
Today is also our last day to customize our MB's so those should be
Coming very soon.
