In the two royal themed buildings both of those will have dual queen beds in corner riverview rooms right?

Given that there will be no King Bed rooms in the Royal buildings, I think that's a pretty good assumption, yes. :)

Hi everyone! We intend to go to Disney for the last week in April...I did want a preferred room but I wanted a refurbished room...does anyone know if this would be done by then? If not which house would be the best option - close to pool/dinning/bus stops? also would river view make it closer to these amenities? Thanks for any advise!

**Okay, I'm done dancing for the day!**

haha..love this!! 9 Days for us, maybe we will cross paths!

We leave on Sunday, have a red eye out of Seattle:cheer2: 11 nights 12 days at POR

This will be our first visit to POR, we've stayed at the POP 3 times in the past.

A little nervous that we won't "feel like we are there" because the resorts are so differently themed. Needed a room for 5, must admit the resort pictures look A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.

5 more days just 5 more days. :dance3:

i will be at POR on Friday..first time at a Mod so I don't know what to expect..someone make me feel all warm and fuzzy!

Is ground floor a good request? I usually like to be up high for a balcony view, but not sure if I should stick to the ground at POR

We love the balcony feel also. But it comes down to going up and down the stairs everyday. So it is up to you. I ran into more traffic going by my window and door on the first floor than I did on the second floor.

Well you maybe won't feel like you are at Pop, with its giant icons and stark landscaping, but I truly think you will feel like you are "home". I'm sure you'll have a fabulous time!

I hope you get a 2nd floor room! You just reminded me of one of our favorite nights there in July - after a busy day in the park (HS), we came back to our resort...and it started to POUR down rain. We sat / stood outside our room on the 2nd floor in Alligator Bayou for a bit and just talked an enjoyed POR in the pouring rain. It was so peaceful and relaxing. :lovestruc

I prefer an upper floor, less foot traffic going by our windows. And no kids jumping above us

But, I'm considering switching to WL, standard view just became availible with AP discount, and we haven't stayed there in awhile, or AKL. But Savanna view isn't in the budget for Jan! So WL standard view I can be happy with.

I know I'm not the only one who agonizes about resort choice :rotfl:

Yeah if you remember I was agonizing over poly and POR.

I'm agonizing as well. We stayed at POR this year and just loved it! We think we would like to try something new for our second visit so we are thinking about staying at CSR. At first CSR seams nice but the more I think about it the more I'm afraid we will miss POR to much. We enjoyed Yee Haa Bob and the boat to DTD so much we would like to do that again.

Should we try something new or stay with tried and true? Last time we stayed at magnolia bend maybe if we request AB?

If I stay at a moderate, it's always POR. We love the mansion section, and the new rooms are wonderful. And yes, I would miss Yee Haa Bob and the boat to DTD for sure. But WL has the boat to MK :rotfl: I flip flop back & forth between Mod & Deluxe. And I'm kinda missing WL.

There's always POFQ which is really close to POR. We always loved POFQ and this is our first time staying at POR. I can hardly wait. I think I'm going to love it, too. :cool1:

WL is probably my favorite resort..because it doesn't FEEL like I am in Florida..it does feel like I have been transported to the Pacific Northwest!

I forgot about monkey's jumpin on the bed! Yikes!

:yay: Just did online check-in! Uh-huh!

:cool2: Have 10 more days to go! Uh-huh!
