Just had to brag cause everyone is tired of hearing about disney at my house (and not everyone here is going) : I will be there one week from today!!!!

Did online check in, garden grocer, ADRs, invested about 3weeks worth of time reading the boards... magical express all set...

now I am watching the national hurrican center... nothing else to stalk...

No worries--- nothing going on (hurricane wise) that will affect FLA in next week or so...

For a while there we got a new one every day or so. Great pictures really make the wait easier to bear.

Come on Venom I'm sure you have some great ones as well.

If you wonder why I am speaking as if I know everyone on this thread. Well... I do. Because I lurk a lot! I am trying to break that habit and join in the conversations.

I particularly love the first one. You see where the lady is walking? That is where I tried to balance a tray full of food on the handle of my son's stroller while walking back to our room to eat. That is also where said tray tilted and spilled all four refillable mugs... My son who was 11 at the time,thought it was really funny. Until I sent him back to get more drinks. Ahhhh... memories

Thank you for my photo fix. I normally go the week after Thanksgiving, but I am not going until June 2013. I know it comes quickly, but not quickly enough.....

The final Port Orleans Riverside Alligator Bayou building (26) re-opened for guests today. The guest room refurbishment was all done a couple of weeks ago, but they kept the rooms out of use until the roof maintenance work was complete and all the scaffolding was taken down.

So now all rooms at both of the Port Orleans resorts have now been fully refurbished and the update program is complete.

Very cool, at least that will be answered for some.

The more I see pics like those, the more I get excited that we might possibly stay there (come on Jan./Feb. free dining.)

I also get more encouraged that dh will love it there.
He really liked Ft. Wilderness when we stayed at the cabins our first trip.
We outgrew the cabins, and found out about connecting rooms at a value, so haven't been back.
I think he'll like that POR has the same forest-y feel, but with the niceties of a hotel.
