Thank you! Are they in all the AB rooms? My son saw that picture and is more excited to sleep with the alligator than with Nemo at AofA. I thought I would have a hard time convincing my kids but WATERSLIDE did the trick. LOL.

The Murphy bed is the replacement for the trundle and now there are queen beds in all the rooms.

Yes. And my kids have been arguing about who gets to sleep with the frogs and the alligator...and we're not even booked yet. LOL :thumbsup2

Has anyone ever taken the carriage ride after dark? We have an early ADR at Boma and are looking for an evening activity. Is it too dark to see anything? Of course, I know that I am nowhere near 180 days out I may not get it, but I am looking for info just in case. Thank you!:goodvibes

It is a wonderful way to end the evening and see POR/POFQ in a totally different way. Then take in Yee-hah Bob at the lounge.

Have a wonderful time.

We are checking in to POR this Sunday. We have never stayed here - only at CS and CB (mods). We have a royal room booked and I requested a corner room.

What are some must do's at this resort? Thanks! We are getting soooooooo excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi! We are staying at POR in November. Does anyone know how big the safe is in the room? I'm wondering if a couple of tablets will fit, or a camera. Can't wait for our trip :banana::banana:

Thanks!

Janet

I got the Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6 EX DC HSM Lens. I have seen something weird show up in a few shots. Maybe thats what you were talking about.

That lens is on my wish list! One of these days I'm going to have to upgrade my OLD Canon Rebel EOS xTi. But I must pay for our December vacation first ;)

How is the river boat ride to Downtown Disney? Is it enjoyable? Is there music on the boat? I figured we would ride the boat to Downtown Disney for lunch or dinner or maybe just ride it to French Quarter and back.

Also... the menu and reviews of Boatwrights sounds very good! Any favorite places to eat in Downtown Disney? I don't remember much exciting there, I'd prefer to be in the parks.... but DS6 likes T-Rex and will probably like Rainforest Cafe and Planet Hollywood too.

Thanks!

I am planing a surprise trip for the kids Dec 13-21. My question is about what time frame will Disney send trip items in the mail ?
I had planned on not telling them til the morning we are leaving, and I didn't want it to be ruined if one of them is with me when I stop to get the mail (both are very nosey :/ )
The trip is all paid up if that makes any difference.

We are here now. I've got 2 iPads, 1 iPod, a fat wallet, set of keys, and a couple of envelopes in it. Probably could fit a few other little things. Not sure if a camera would fit. It would depend how thick it is.

Yes of course Disney first, camera second! Lol. The xti is still a respectful camera. So no worries. T2i and t3i are really affordable now. I see tons of them out there. I was going to get a 60D when I got back into it 8 months ago. But went Nikon.

Now back to POR. Sorry everyone. But a good morning to everyone! Hope you have a great weekend coming up.

We enjoyed the boat ride to Downtown Disney. We stayed at POFQ so we were picked up second and had to wait for another boat due to crowds. We took a few trips on the boat and I know there wasnt any music playing. It was a nice enjoyable ride. Only ate one meal there - Wolfgang Puck Express - Yum.

I'm seeing people saying approx. 30 days out, but it's varying.
