That's very cute!! ::MinnieMo

Does the Old Man River pool generally get pretty crowded during the day or evening? I know there are the quiet pools but just curious about the main "fun" pool. I know the kids are looking forward to that almost as much as the parks.

I booked a Preferred room for April 13-21 for our family of 5 YESTERDAY!!! From what I have read building 14 has been renovated (I think). When I was making my reservation the CM told me none of the rooms that sleep 5 have been renovated. Can anyone confirm that? Are there rooms in building 14 that sleep 5?

Also, can I request a specific building (i.e. 14) or view (water) or is that an additional upgrade.

Totally lost here with all the choices these days at POR.
Thanks!

We are going POR RGR April 13 - 20th!!!

I was just checking availability for the end of june and was surprised that for our dates that only royal rooms were available. Does Riverside usually get fully booked in the end of June?

There will still be Alligator Bayou buildings closed for refurbishment during June, so that presumably reduces regular room capacity a bit.

At peak times of year, it is usually quietest early in the day, but it gets quite busy in the afternoon and also even late into the evening too (often people still swimming well past midnight). Of course in February, when it's 40-50 degrees F, you'll just find a couple of mad Brits in the pool (I speak from experience - it was nice enough in the water, but brrrrrr when you got out!)

I'm booked for a preferred room. Does that automatically mean AB? AB is fine, I'm just curious.

UGH the princess is sick with a sinus infection. Thankfully we caught it early and is now on a 5 day course of antibiotics. Now please lots of pixie dust that no one else gets sick.

Hope your DD is feeling better! We will be there at the same time as you! We get there on Sunday with 2 DD's (4 and 9 months) :)

I am almost packed. Made my Amazon order... tyring to get through the next few days and get the house cleaned up!

One more sleep! We'll be there tomorrow around 1.

Anyone want me to check anything out? No RGR for us, but I did request a refurbished room.

We have a RGR garden view for 4/4 - 4/9. I know it must be in Oak. Will on line check in really save me time?

We leave tomorrow evening to get a head start on our driving. Will check in on Saturday!

Just woke up from the WORST dream! Dreamed we went to the wrong park on the wrong days, missed our ADR's, had been there 2 days and had not seen our Royal Room yet, couldn't get any CM's on the phone, etc. I seriously woke up sweating! Whew! So glad it was just a dream :rotfl:

Let's hope our real trip goes smoother!!:)

We are Checking in on April 13th staying in the RGR river view. I know that is the day Parterre Place is supposed to open. What building do you think we will be in Oak or Parterre?

Checking in tomorrow! Arrived in Orlando Tuesday. Weather is nice. Not hot but very comfortable. For all heading down you may even want a jacket for evenings. Drove through POR yesterday just for fun! Parking lots were pretty empty but it was the middle of the day.
