Thanks to all who responded and helped me with my King bed question. I feel better about it now, knowing the King bed is guarenteed.

That is pretty callous on their part. Someone who has a handicapped child should not be given the runaround on this! They should be ashamed!:scared1:
I got nowhere today either. Guest services said they would call me back, and I waited around all day and they did not!

Sending you postive thoughts! Hope they do the right thing.

If you do get somewhere with this, please be sure to get the name of any helpful CM and let me know their name and title. I would really appreciate it!

We have been in Orlando since Saturday. Did Discovery Cove yesterday for the first time ever, and loved it the food was also good. Anyway, check in to POR on Wednesday. We are part of this Garden View, Queen bed guaranteed ressie. I'll keep you posted on how it goes. We are just going to see what happens at check-in, we however did not do on-line check in.

We also requested a garden view when we booked at POR. When we checked in, I asked if we had queen beds. CM told us we were not booked in room with queen beds, but did change our room for us without any problem.

Hi! Off topic, but the new cookingdisney.com is up and ready! For those of you that followed the live interactive dining reviews, this is the new cooking podcast we started today. The first recipe, Le Cellier's Mushroom Risotto!!!

Andre, when in Aug are you planning and or booked to go?

question... looking at the refurb rooms at POR .. the fold out bed... is there a weight limit on that?? the old crappy trundle bed used to be only for a small child, just wondering ...

Good morning all. Congrats Andre on your upcoming trip. Too bad it would have been great to meet you. Maybe in the future...

Don

We're booked in at POR from 16 to 29 August. River View, and hoping for Alligator Bayou as there will be four of us and the murphy bed would be great.

Andre

We're going from Aug 19-Sept 1 but will only be in POR from the 27-1, maybe we will bump into each other. Just look for the guy in a Star Wars shirt.

We are at POP from the 19th-24th and off property from the 24-27 for the Star Wars convention. Do you know if there is some way to send some of our luggage to POR from POP and have them hold it for a few days? I'm not even sure I want to try this (I'd be afraid of loosing my luggage) but I am curious.

I'll be anxiously waiting to hear how it goes! Your going at a good time when it's not that busy so hopefully you get your room!!!

If I really wanted a queen bed and found out there might be a problem I think I would look to book a different mod. Both POFQ and CSR have queen beds.

I know lots of people who book YC over BC to make sure they get a full balcony. Since POR and POFZ are sister resorts just like BC/YC wouldn't that be a good way to get the best of both worlds?

I have a party of 5. CSR and POFQ will not work. The CM gave me the option of spending over $2000 to change to the Poly. Umm...no thanks.
