Can anyone tell me or provide a link to how late downtown Disney will be open on weekdays in mid September?
POR pool slide is much better then POFQ, here is a very good you tube of it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kfyokCf9cbU
Yes, all rooms are getting queen beds and a total make over. August is the current completion goal for the refurb, so the majority of the room should be finished by then. POR is a great resort with plenty of activities and is just great to walk around at. I hope this helps, don't forget POR has quiet pools also
Just 17 days until we head south to get out of this chilling weather here in northwest florida

Anyone?
Thanks
I in read the u-tube link that the slide operates only with lifeguard. Lifeguard hours are 10 am to 10 pm from end of may to end of August. Otherwise, no lifeguard after 8 pm.
Any suggestions for what to do after 8pm during September?
Not POR related but has anyone eaten at the Beaches N Cream Soda Shop? My friend is thinking we should check it out when we are there....in 30 DAYS!!...and I'm wondering if it is worth it? I see they take no reservations and its small.

Wonder how many Weight Watchers points that is???![]()
We are leaving for POR in three days! I'm so excited, this will be our first time at this resort and I think it looks beautiful. I've visited in the past while resort hopping, but have never actually stayed there. I've never received a bounceback offer and am hoping to get one while there as I hear they can be a great deal. My question is, how great of a deal are they? Are they better than the 35-40% off rooms offer that was out for the spring?

On the kitchen sink front we did it a few years ago with 3 adults and an almost 16 yo boy. THe poor kid had sugar shakes so bad it was kinda funny.
AS for Beaches and Cream Chow: It's one of my favorite places to eat and Dh said they had best burgers on property. I personally feel it's kinda a poor use of a TS credit but each their own in how they use TS credits.
Hi Everyone,
I'm so glad I found this thread. We are doing our first family WDW trip in October. I went a few times as a child and spent one day at MK when DS was 3, this was DH fist time there. We had booked a room at CSR, but after reading some reviews and realizing there was a convention the week we will be there I just switched over to POR with the Royal room request. This probably won't excited my DS, now 7.5 years, but our DD who will be 3.5 yrs when we go and already a big princess fan will love it.
We are so excited POR looks beautiful!!!
