We are a family of 5. Can anyone tell me which buildings have the trundle beds? I know they are in the Alligator Bayou section. Are they all in one building or do I have a choice of buildings? I would like to be pretty close to the food court, but not to far away from the main pool. Any advice would be appreciated.

Building 27 is between the food court and the pool.

I don't know which building it is, but I just called reservations to get price quotes, and they told me about the trundle beds at POR. If you call reservations, they can probably tell you which buildings have them, etc.

Bldg.14 is pretty close to the food court and to Ole Man Island. You have to realize that there are three bridges over to Ole Man Island. One that is in between bldgs. 27 and 38 in AB and one over by Magnolia Terrace. The other one is between the island and the main bldgs. There are quiet pools close to a lot of the bldgs. We stayed in bldg. 38 several years ago. While it looked like a huge hike to the food court it was in actuality about 8 minutes. And only about 3 minutes to the nearest bus stop. We had a quiet pool right outside our door but the walk to the main pool was only about 5 minutes.
I would say that if you want AB for the trundle bed and want to be close to the main bldg and the main pool, then you will be better off with either 14 or 27.

We stayed there 5 years ago, I think in building 16. This was a fairly short walk from everything, had a trundle bed, and flanked a quiet pool, which was really nice. We loved it.

We stayed in buliding 14 last June. No more than four minutes from buses & food court. Our room had one of those trundle beds that our 3 year old used.
I loved this resort. I used to get up before the rest of the family & just wander around the grounds. It's beautiful with wildlife too- saw turtles, cranes, ducks, and an armadillo.
