Need opinions on this. We are a family of 5 travelling to WDW in January 2008 It will be 2 adults and 3 children, ages 6, 11, and 13 years. We booked in at the Port Orleans Riverside (with trundle bed) because of rave reviews of the resort and mostly because of the price.
My concern is that we will be a little too crowded in the room and also ? the longer commute to parks via the bus. The relaxed nature of the resort is appealing though.
The Contemporary is more $ but not too much more and the rooms are more spacious. I hear pros and cons about the Contemporary.
Should I switch my reservation? Is it worth the extra $?
Thanks!!

I love POR...it is such a beautiful and relaxing resort....and the bus ride to the parks isn't bad.However...my vote would be for The Contemporary if you can afford the extra cost for it.My family of 4 stays at POR and fits in quite nicely, but we dont usually spend much time at the resort anyway. With an extra person though,I would probaly choose the Contemporary if I could afford it.Being closet to MK and Epcot would be an advatage, and I think the sleeping arrangements would work out better for your family.
