My fiancee and I are going to be staying here after we get married on Castaway Cay Island in 9 days. I was just wondering if there is any special room I should request.

Just don't get building one! We had what seemed like a long hike, usually because we would get back late and have to carry one sleeping child. The rooms are all great, it's a wonderful resort and my only complaint was how far it was for us (building 1, level 3 so it doesn't get any further away from everything). enjoy your honeymoon!!!! :teeth:

We do not mind Building 1. But we did not have kids. I found because of the size of the resort everything was close. you may want to find a map & request the buildings closest to the river.

Make sure you tell them that you are on your honeymoon. I'm sure they will make your stay a special one.

Welcome to the Dis lookin and CONGRATS on your wedding. My fiancee has given me the honeymoon, but unfortunately she said, "NO" to Disney world. :( Deffinately have fun and don't forget to tell people you're on your honeymoon.

We just returned from a week at POFQ, and we were in building 4, which we loved. We were close to the pool (try the coladas and/or daquiris - top notch! ) and the food court.

I also love building 1. I stayed there this summer (1326, I think) - farthest king room up the canal. It was fantastic for me and should be away from all the action - may be a good honeymoon spot!
Hope you enjoy your stay.

Loved building 1 and we had 2 kids at the time. We were first floor courtyard view but paid for standard. Far enough away from the pool so it was quiet but close enough to easily walk to. Easy walk to food court and boat stop. French Quarter is very easy to navigate. Can't imagine there is a bad building to be in.
Enjoy! :jester:

we stayed in room 5105 in May and loved it, you could see the pool, the food court, and plenty of rabbits nibbling on the plants right out our door! rooms 5101 through 5108 are awsome! Also a quick walk to the bus stop. and checkin, and not far from the boat ramp, hmm yep it was perfect!! oh, congradulations on the wedding too!:wave2:

But SKIP the margaritas from the pool bar....ick. ;)

We were in building 2, had a 'view' of a courtyard with a lovely fountain. I wouldn't recommend paying for a ''view' room in a moderate resort, as you usually have your drapes closed all the time for privacy anyway (at least I do). Request a room location based on convenience instead (close to bus, close to pool, close to food court...whicher is your preference). But really POFQ is so small there is no bad location!

We were in building 1 3rd floor. We really liked it. We had a waterview room and it was very quiet and peaceful. And in the morning it was really nice to watch the sun rise on the water. I think any room you get at POFQ will be nice. Be sure to try the begneits (sp?). They are really incredible.
